My Last Minute Budget-Friendly Halloween Tablescape

With everything going on decorating for Halloween was the last task I wanted to add to my to-do list. But as some of you may know having kids mean around, means whether you want to or not, you will be part of Halloween.

Fast forward to Tuesday did a quick stop at local stores to see what I can find that would fit into my low budget and still looks great. You did read low budget, right? well more like budget. See I'm planning a Superman-themed birthday party for my 5-year old and a Disney trip. Which by the way, in my opinion, there is NO such thing as a "Florida discount." But hey, I have to go see Mickey, but I digress.

I had an idea what I wanted to create. Something simple, black and red and a little creepy. Just as I was about to give up on my idea, I made a quick stop at the local Dollar Tree and just like my idea came to life. I've said it before don't be too quick to judge those local dollar stores. Think about it, these quick often times one-time use decorations don't need to be expensive to have added effect. I'm a strong believer in mixing old and new, expensive and cheap to create a stunning decor.

So without further delay, here is my vision. By the way, I got the thumbs up from my kid so I am definitely happy with the turn out.

Don't worry the AB+ is juice and a fun extra creepy addition.

Dollar Tree spider and goodies bag. The syringe actually was an old baby medicine dispenser that I had. I knew I would need it again some day.

The most expensive part of this table is the branch, which I purchased from Michaels. I have to be honest, I don't remember how much, but I know it wasn't no $50 branch. There's nothing wrong with cutting down some strong branches outside your door. Same effect. The birds, Dollar Tree.

Like I said, simple and very inexpensive to create.

Hope you guys like it. Send me pictures of your decorations, costumes, and creations. I love to see them.
