Elegant Festive Christmas Tablescape with Instructions 🎄

Christmas Table ideas perfect for your Christmas table
I originally post it this table about two years ago, and it's one of my most popular post. So I figured I'll revamp this one and share again. Christmas is less than 90 days away (insert shock emoji). With all my events, I always do a sample table to see how it would look. For my decorators out there, this is a great way to see if the idea will flow in reality.

I wanted to design a Christmas tablescape that was both festive and no fuss, and what I came up with is a silver and red color theme with just enough sparkles to wow your guests.  Most of the decorations were purchased from Michaels, (and at discounted prices too).  So it is not too late to have that special Christmas dinner or get-together.

I decided to do something special with the dinner napkins.  What's more Christmas, then a dinner napkin folded into an elf shoe? (I'll wait). Add that to a charger plate and you'll be known Hostess with the Most.

For my centerpiece, I use a big martini glass (purchased from Michaels, but I've seen them at Hobby Lobby *and* Wal-Mart. To start filled your glass with colorful ornaments and pine cones.

HINT: If you want to keep this even more affordable aka cheap, get the ornaments from your local Dollar Tree. You need the other ones that you already have for your Christmas tree.

Naughty guest sat at this table (hahaha). I found them at Michaels and the cool thing is on the other side is the word nice. So you get to decide who's been nice and who's been naughty.

Like I said, this post was couple of years ago, so I'm not sure if these are still available, but I'm sure you'll find something similar.

I like the idea of having my centerpiece on a big round glass mirror. Place small decorative red  or colorful ornament balls all around the table. Go ahead and go nuts (see what I did there? see the little Nutcracker guy on the table?) Add some tea-light candle holders and Voila!

A wine and water glass is all you need for this table. Between the sequin linen - which works well at Christmas - and all the ornaments, you don't want to make your table look crowded. Check out Homegoods, they always have great glassware. No, I don't work for them, I just LOVE that store.

Same thing as the Naughty or Nice Ornament, these cute cards may not be available.

I got this card from Homegoods and the gift box from Michaels and just added a small red bow. There is gold sequin if that is your preference, but again, my color theme was red and silver.  I also added the card at each plate setting with a special message for each guest.  A great extra way to make your guests feel special and appreciated.

And there you have it, not a lot of work, right? But great visual results. The only real work was folding the napkin into the elf shoe and don't worry here is a youtube link that shows you exactly how to fold the elf shoe napkin:

You thought I was going to leave you and not give you a DIY link, it's the season of sharing and giving.

If you decide to replicate this idea, send me your photos or links. I would love to see them.
