Now that you're engaged, the next step is to decide whether or not you will have a wedding party, and that is not an easy decision. There are so many things to consider when choosing a bridesmaid. So many choices between sisters, friends, cousins and best friends, the decision can be overwhelming. Trust me I know.
What are some of those other factors to consider?
First of all take a deep breath, this is your special time and you have every right to demand positive energy around you. Don't apologize for your choices and don't feel bad because that cousin you knew when you was 12 and moved away and now have 3 kids won't be part of your bridal party.
Protect your energy and vibe.
With that been said, think really hard before asking. Your ex co-worker you've known for years and still friends with may not be the best choice, and if she's a friend, she'll get that. Second, be honest about your expectations and make sure everyone is on board with your expectations - DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING - Everyone must be on board and you should know that 100%. Another thing I forgot to touch on my podcast (hey, be patient I'm still learning) is you have to consider everyone's schedule. Yes, it's all about you but don't expect people to drop everything just to be in your wedding.
