Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2017 Deals: Wedding & Hosting Edition

After Thanksgiving Sale, Holiday Shopping

Three dates to remember in the upcoming week:

Black Friday: November 24, 2017
Small Business Saturday: November 25, 2017
Cyber Monday: November 27, 2017

Those dates are not just for big screen TVs, gaming consoles and electronics. Those dates are also great for snatching up those wedding detail items or that dinner party essential. So how can a bride-to-be or hostess take advantage of the deep discounts and sales?

First plan ahead!!! No I don't mean leave your family on Thanksgiving and go sit outside of a store (that's doing too much in my opinion), I mean make a list of what you're looking for and the best places to get them. For brides-to-be and hostesses, you really need to plan smart ahead.

While you may not be able to find that perfect dress during those three days, don't be afraid to look around. There are stores that's starting their Black Fridays as early as 6:00 PM on the Thanksgiving, so make sure it's not one of the stores you wanted to stop by because trust me by 9:00 AM the next day, the aisles will littered with open boxes and thousands of footprints. Cyber Monday usually starts midnight on Sunday night. And yes, have your site ready and items in a cart and/or ready to hit "buy" that goes pretty fast too.

So what's next?
Holiday Shopping, After Thanksgiving Sale

1. Don't sleep on the small boutiques. They don't get as much fan-fares as the big names, but you might just find that perfect cocktail or second dress at a great deal.

2. Don't be too quick to grab that diamond bracelet. According to dealnews.com, "buying jewelry on Black Friday should be a last resort, because there are usually very few discounts offered. Try waiting until January to make your jewelry purchase -- when prices are slashed -- and get a head start on Valentine's Day."

3. Don't forget Etsy shops. The DIY/craft site is the perfect place to shop for those special little details. Perfect for supporting small and home businesses.

4. Groupons, yes you heard me, stores and advertisers also uses the site to promote their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales on top of their already deals.

5. Check out some dining. While not a big "sale day" place, some restaurants might offer free or discounted drinks and/or meals to shoppers. So take some time out and having a glass of wine or two.

6. Stock up on home entertaining essentials. IKEA will have a great deal on a 20-piece dining set for $20 and the great thing is, you can purchase it online. That bar cart you always wanted might be on sale for less than $100.

7. Those bridesmaids accessories, yes it's a great time to get them.

8. Those beautiful expensive invites might be just the price you was waiting for and you won't have to sacrifice your budget.

9. Wine not - yes don't forget to check your favorite wine stores both local and online for some deals on Merlot or that Chateau Margaux 2009 Balthazar (it's over $4,000 YIKES).

10. Shoes - we all need them and that special heel may make its way to your closet at the right price. No promises though on red bottoms.

Follow the guide above and you can save hundreds if not thousands. You know how much I love my readers, right? I did some research and collected some deals for you. Click here for the Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2017 Deals: Wedding & Hosting Edition Links.
